She decided to pitch her boss (then at Women's Day Magazine) to open a joint venture. Together they began on a shoestring budget and quickly their two person company had grossed half a million dollars. They doubled their profits the following year - and all that during a recession! Clients of this venture included Fortune 500 companies such top cosmetic companies including Noxell and Clairol, the New York Stock Exchange, and even Elizabeth Taylor.

Eventually she left the partnership and after a stint setting up the marketing department of a major non-profit, left New York City for Florida to pursue her dream of living by the sea, spending several more years as a designer. Then she discovered the field of coaching after a client suggested her skills in listening and problem solving would be a great fit. She investigated and became excited to see that her business style was modeled after coaching, and that our lives and careers both benefit from conscious design. Finally, there was an avenue to combine her interests, and attending coaching school was the obvious next step.

Judy went on to co-author 'The Guide To Getting It: Branding & Marketing Mastery,' with 8 other nationally known business coaches.
