Brand Clues Set You Apart

In Branding, Business, Entrepreneurs, Growth, Marketing, New Beginning, Strategy, success

As this day begins, so does the ‘run’ towards the release of a book I’ve co-authored called ‘Ignite the Entrepreneur’. Its been such a wonderful gift to be associated with this publishing group and community, beyond getting the book out to the world. All while expressing my Brand and values.

It’s a reminder that we all have a journey. Many of us come out of some sort of fire to emerge into a new ‘self’ on the other side. Here is a book with story after story of people who found the strength to move forward, to shed their old skin and become a version of themselves that was waiting to be uncovered, revealed to themselves and then the world beyond.

Inside of this I noticed that we each have our own ‘isms’. I call mine Judy-isms (haha), the way I speak is particular as is the way my observations of the world come through… its all a part of my brand, as it is yours.

We not only see the world in our own way, we also speak it, share it, mold it and make it our own. No experience is the same through each of our eyes, which always reminds me of the movie ‘Sliding Doors’ for some reason. If we stand in a different place, we have a different ‘view’ of any event. Life is like that and so are we.

Today I invite you to consider your own ‘isms’. In the book I share that ‘Fitting In Is Not A Recipe For Success’… indeed we each have our own recipe and much of life is figuring that out.

One way to tap into some of those ingredients is to notice your ‘isms’. Begin by making a list of how you see the world or how you speak.

What’s a one-liner you often say? Write that down.
Do you have a reaction that is your go to? Write that down too.
Keep this up til you have at least 10 of them.

Inside of this information you’ll begin to notice that you do have a way of seeing that no one else possesses. You have a contribution beyond your own lens.

You have a brand that is YOUR recipe for success. The only distinction is that business owners take theirs and apply it to their offerings. We see beyond, to see how our pain, our experiences, our growth can assist others on their journey in some way. From the car your drive to the food you eat, this has been embedded into the process. Sara Blakely created Spanx for her own needs, Tom’s Shoes did the same and the list could go on and on…

So please, take the time to get this book and have a read. It has something for everyone who wants to break through… who wants more from life, who wants to see that they are already perfect and ready to do what they truly desire. Learn from us, as we have the scars and the bruises and the love to share our journey, our ugly to help you move forward from where you are today.

May you build a brand, enjoy your own ‘isms’ and continue this journey while joyfully uncovering your own recipe for success.

To your Unforgettable Journey,
